SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

ALL STUDENTS

1. Students must arrive in the school premises latest by 7:40am and tidy up their classroom between 7:40am – 7:50am.
2. Students must assemble on the assembly ground by 7:50am and line up according to their class and height.
3. Students must put on correct uniform properly tucked in for boys and knot their ties from Monday to Wednesday. All students must wear Blazer on Monday morning while girls wear their Boaters. Black leather shoe with school socks must be worn from Monday to Wednesday. Sportswear together with snickers or canvass must be worn on Thursday and Fridays that represent days for Sport Academy. Girls are to have prescribed hairstyle while boys are to have decent hair-cut.
4. Students must participate in praise worship and prayers on the assembly ground.
5. By 8:15am, students must get settled down for the commencement of the lessons and can leave for short break between 10:15am – 10:25am, long break is between 11:45am – 12:10pm and lunch break between 1:55pm – 2:20pm.
6. Students are not allowed to eat anything in the class or litter their classrooms and its surroundings with sweets, biscuits, chocolate, pure water, wrappers etc.
7. On no account should any student be found outside the school at odd places and time with their uniforms e.g at football fields, market square, film selling points etc.
8. Speaking in any language other than English is prohibited. However, student can speak French and Yoruba during the classes of the two subjects.
9. Bulling and Fagging is prohibited. No senior student is allowed to beat or confiscate any student properties.
10. Students in possession of more than #1000 naira should declare such to his or her class teacher before lesion.
11. Student must all come with their sport wears on sport day and participate in at least one of the games. The only exception to this rule is on health grounds which must be verifiable.
12. Stealing of another person’s property is prohibited. If you discover anything either in your class or school compound, hand it over to any teacher around you or take it to the school counselor.
13. Fighting is prohibited both inside and outside the school premises.
14. Student must not cross the lawns.
15. Bell calls must be obeyed promptly.
16. Student must walk briskly and smartly in the school compound whenever the need arises.
17. All students must be at the right place at the right time. Any appearance of students in odd places within the school without genuine excuses will attract punishment.
18. Any student found destroying school property shall be made to pay for it.
19. No student must receive any visitor during the school hours except through the permission of the principal.

FOR BOARDERS

1. All routine bells must be obeyed promptly.
2. During school hours, dormitories are out of bounds
3. Classrooms or dormitories may not be used for any form of social function without the express permission of the principal.
4. Students are to go on holidays and return to school in their uniforms.
5. Students must be at the right place in the right outfit at the right time.
6. No Student should fag, bully or terrorise a junior or younger student or confiscate their things.
7. All boarders must report in the school compound between 10:00am – 6:00pm on resumption which is day before the school formerly opens.
8. Parents are not allowed into the hostels.
9. No student must cook in the dormitories
10. Contrabands are prohibited.
11. The dormitory must be kept clear and tidy at all times.
12. Beds must be laid neatly before leaving the dormitory daily.
13. All morning pieces of work must be done properly before assembly.
